We talk about your business, your customers, and what the website needs to do. Sometimes WordPress is not the right fit, and I will tell you.
A rough quote based on a clear scope, so you know what to expect before any work starts. Additional work beyond that scope is billed hourly.
Page designs for your review. Nothing gets built until you approve the design.
The website is built on staging, where you can review it as it comes together.
Browsers, devices, forms, speed, and redirects are all checked before launch.
The website goes live, and I monitor it closely for the first few weeks.

A typical WordPress website takes six to ten weeks from approved proposal to launch.
Support After Launch
I do not charge monthly retainers. You will never pay me a monthly fee for a month when there was nothing to do.
All support is ad hoc. When you need something, you call or email me, I do the work, and you pay for the time it took. That covers updates, new pages, design changes, plugin and WordPress core updates, fixes, speed improvements, and new features. Larger projects get a rough quote before any work starts.
The website, the content, the domain, and the hosting account are all yours. If we ever stop working together, you take all of it with you.
Response Times
You work with me directly, not with an account manager or a ticket queue. When you reach out, the person who answers is the person who built your website.
- Urgent issues: a website that is down, hacked, or has broken forms or checkout. Response within a few hours during business hours.
- Everything else: content updates, changes, and small fixes. Usually a same-day response, with the work completed within a day or two.
- New features and larger projects: scheduled, with a rough quote before any work begins.
