Let's get started
First, I listen to you. What makes your situation unique? Making your website successful is dependent on clear communication and a deep understanding of your business goals.
I pay attention to what your users will need, what information you want to collect and what you want to accomplish with your site.
Another, sometimes overlooked aspect is researching your competitors... a process that I take very seriously not only for design but with respect to SEO too.
Thinking things thru...
Planning is the best way to ensure that we'll meet all of your important business goals. Studying your technical and content constraints, I'll help you prioritize your goals into an actionable roadmap.
A well thought out plan will drive the design process to the next level. This is also the stage when you can provide me with your opinions on color schemes, layouts, etc.
Like magic, but way better
This is when solutions come out and you get to critique the initial ideas.
This stage is to help shine a light on new and fresh solutions as we narrow the conceptual design; the best answers may not have always been right in front of us.
No hard hats required
This is when you get to sit back and relax.
The website code will be written and you'll be presented with a sandbox version to use and review.
Let's see if we can break it
All new websites are tested in a sandbox environment for quality assurance before going live on the web. You'll have a chance to surf your site just like a user would so there's no guess work about the final product you'll receive.
Once you approve the final site, I'll complete the remaining stages and prepare for site launch.
Hooray!
Your new website is now live and interacting with customers.
At this stage, I can work with you to continue to grow your digital marketing strategy.
We may also engage in A/B or multivariate testing to determine the best marketing strategies — this is a really fun part of running your website! We'll have actionable data that you can present to others (and the HiPPO) in your organization.
