I'm a solid designer & I know web technologies. I know how to combine a solid front-end with efficient back-end coding. I have the ability to manage the design process from conception to completion. I love the mental workout of complex problems and always excercise my extensive development skills. Simply banging out a seductive visual design doesn’t count as a job well done in my eye. Politely put, I've built a mature product management culture that results in the best bang for your buck.


I'm an Excellent Communicator

I communicate well. I'm not a scary, anti-social designer; I've met with and won over difficult customers and co-workers. I've given presentations to both technical and nontechnical audiences. I pay attention to grammar and spelling in my e-mails, and I'm diplomatic when dealing with difficult situations. I like to write, and I strive for well documented, expressive, and elegant code.

People like working with me. In life and at work, I'm friendly, mellow, calm under stress, and really hard to offend. I am explicitly non-religious about languages, editors, and indentation styles. I hang out with current and former co-workers, and we don't just talk about work. I'm enthusiastic and passionate about interesting projects and doing things the Right Way.

Innovation comes from mastering organizational and technical constraints... instead of ignoring them... and from listening patiently to clients and digging deeper: instead of clinging to our first few catchy ideas.
